Outstanding Achievement Award
About the Award
Since 1954, we have annually presented our trophy for Outstanding Achievement to an individual or organization which has made significant contributions to the preservation and promotion of the history of the mountain region.
Grace Gordon Pless won the 2023 award for her six decades of dedication to Asheville Area history, including her work with the Asheville Urban Trail.
